We invite you to join us on a technical support contract. The position is based in Angola.
1/ PROJECT PLANNING & CONTROL
- ensure implementation and compliance with Project Control procedures related to planning, cost control, progress measurement, and reporting in line with company standards ;
- establish, maintain, and control the integrated project baseline (schedule, man-hours, costs, milestones) ;
- develop and manage the detailed project schedule covering engineering, procurement, fabrication yard activities, offshore construction, and commissioning ;
- validate schedule logic, critical paths, and milestone integrity.
2/ PROGRESS MONITORING & PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
- monitor project progress, identify deviations, trends, and potential risks, and propose corrective actions ;
- ensure consistent and reliable progress measurement methodologies across all disciplines and project locations ;
- produce and analyze progress curves, performance indicators, and Earned Value Management metrics.
3/ COST CONTROL & REPORTING
- coordinate cost control activities in close collaboration with the Cost Controller, including budget monitoring, forecast at completion, and variance analysis ;
- prepare and validate periodic internal and client project control deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements ;
- support project reviews and participate in progress meetings with the client.
4/ MANAGEMENT SUPPORT & INTERFACES
- support the Project Manager in decision-making by providing accurate forecasting and scenario analyses ;
- interface with engineering, procurement, construction, offshore, and commissioning teams to consolidate planning and progress data ;
- support change management by assessing schedule and cost impacts related to variations and change orders.
5/ RESPONSABILITIES AND DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
- full ownership of the project planning and control framework, including methodologies, tools, and standards ;
- authority to challenge planning assumptions, progress reporting, and performance data provided by project stakeholders ;
- key contributor to project reviews, management reporting, and client progress meetings.
